Spay / Neuter Contract

Please Note: Our puppies are sold as pets only. We do not sell to breeders. We have a strict spay / neuter contract.

There is a $300 non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy. Deposits are placed on upcoming litters, and customers with deposits get priority in the selection process on a first-in first-out basis. Deposit customers may select the puppy of their choice in the order of deposit. We do not take deposits based on the gender or color of the puppy. Deposits are not refundable but are transferable. If for some reason, you cannot take a puppy when the litter is available, or would like to select a puppy from a different litter, you may transfer the deposit to an alternate litter. When moving from one litter to another, you will be placed at the end of the litter you move to.

Our Process

  • We do not require an application or even a phone call to make a deposit. Instead, we conduct a 30 minute phone call with our prospective buyers prior to our puppies going home. We know everyone knows the "right" answers for an application, and we feel that a phone interview gives us all the information we need to make an assessment and get to know our buyers first-hand. It doesn't happen very often, but on occasion we have refused to sell one of our puppies to a prospective buyer.
  • We take 8 deposits on upcoming litters. We show the number of deposits still available on our website, so you will know where you stand on the list before you make your deposit. We do reserve the right to claim the first spot on a litter as a Breeder's pick at any time.
  • You will be notified by email after the puppies for the litter you've selected are born. The email will contain a photo and the numbers and colors of the puppies, as well as puppy pick-up date.
  • At 4-5 weeks, individual photos and videos of the puppies will be posted on the website.
  • After this time, we will schedule a call with you to discuss preferences and to address any concerns or questions you might have.
  • Selections are made in person on the day of pick-up. We select in list order, and try to be as fair as humanly possible.
  • Deposits are not refundable. If for some reason you are unable to take a puppy, or the puppies that are left when it is your turn to select are not to the color or gender of your liking, you may opt to roll your deposit to a future litter.

Puppy Selection

Pictures will be posted at 1 week of the group, and individual photos and videos will be posted at 4-5 weeks to assist you with the selection process. We also post short weekly videos so you can see their progression. Puppies go home at 8 weeks old. Selections are made in person at the time of pick-up, based on list order. We will schedule appointments at 45 - 60 minute intervals in the order of deposit. You will be informed well in advance of the dates and times. If you cannot make your appointment in person, we will pick for you with your guidance, via phone call, email and other means necessary to get the puppy you want.

Balance Payments

Balance payment is due prior to puppy pickup. You will receive our contract and an option to pay by check or with a credit card after the puppy photos and videos have been posted. There is a 3% handling fee to use a credit card.

Two-Year Health Guarantee

We are proud of our solid reputation for healthy, happy puppies. All of our Moms are OFA tested. We are so confident in the lineage of our puppies that we offer a Two-Year Genetic Health Guarantee. If your puppy is found to have life-threatening, crippling, and/or disabling congenital (genetic) health defects, we'll replace your puppy free of charge.

Free Microchip

We are a strong advocate of the microchip, and each of our puppies goes home with a microchip. A microchip is about the size of a grain of rice, and could save your puppy's life. The microchip is inserted with a hypodermic needle between a puppy's shoulder blades in a process that is described by our veterinarian as no more painful than a flu shot. It works something like a bar code, and is an invaluable tool in reuniting lost pets with their families. There is no fee for the chip. Your only responsibiity is to register the chip in the PetLink database. We recommend having your pets scanned regularly to be sure the chips are readable, and would emphasize that you remember to register the chip and make sure the registry information is kept up-to-date when you move or transfer ownership of your puppy.

Puppy Shipping

You are welcome to fly in to get your puppy. We will meet you at the airport and provide you with everything necessary to fly your puppy back home. Your puppy can fly safely under your seat. We will provide the health certificate and crate ready for transport. We also ship puppies using USDA approved ground transportation or via air. Please contact us for more details.
